It’s my last name. It started out as a blog and morphed into what I do today–read tarot and make things. I believed my whole life that it meant “blacksmith” and that it was a common name. Turns out, it was wrong on both counts. It means angry Russian noble, and it’s a pretty rare name over in the Motherland. One more thing, it’s pronounced SOW nuh. NOT SAW nuh. EFF. It’s the one Finnish word everybody knows, but most people pronounce it totally wrong!
