First up: the This Might Hurt Tarot by Isabella Rotman. I found this deck through my dear friend Kris of Sticky Elbow Art. She had met the author and gifted me one of her handmade books, “Run With Your Demons”. I was sucked in so fast! As soon as she told me there was a deck available on Kickstarter for a deck, I jumped on it! That was 2019 and I have learned so much from this gorgeous deck and guidebook about inclusivity, gender, and facing issues head on. All genders, colors, and sizes of people are represented, including those with disabilities. I learn something new every time I use it, and when I give people the option to have me read this deck or another, I describe it as “in your face, no bullshitting.” 99% of the time, that is exactly what people want in a reading. I mean, why screw around??
